Lockdown Began in India from March 22. Initially, the lockdown is up to April 14 after that lockdown is extended to May 3. That means the lockdown will last 43 days. This is the biggest lockdown in the world. Because of this lockdown 138 crore, people affected in India. What a loss to India due to this lockdown. This is how the state and central governments will deal with this loss. How they have dealt with such situations in the past. What is helicrafter money? what is quantitative easing?

This results in a loss of 38000 crore rupees per day, that means loss of 15 lakh crores rupees in 43 days. Our country's GDP is 200 lakh crores rupees. The loss of 7 percent of it is very high. There is no guarantee that the loss will be recovered even after the lockdown is excused. It takes two to three months for people's income to be registered in the usual manner. Maybe 6 months is also for some sectors.

Following categories are affected by the lockdown:
1. Daily wage labors: 12 crore people are working in India based on a daily wage. That means those who do the construction work, the housekeepers, the weight carriers. On average, they gain 300 rupees per day. So because of this lockdown workers lose their income. After lockdown, there is no guaranteed job for the daily wagers. At least 5 to 6 months' duration may take for their job. They have to borrow up to then and nourish their families. Because of that, they will pay a lot of interest. So for recovery, the daily wager's family will take a minimum of 3 to 5 months.
2. Companies: Government employers of 2 crore and private employees of 10 crores are there in India. Because of lockdown, so many employees do their work from home. Those in the Manufacturing category must be free[ no work] for 43 days. Because these companies will take a certain percentage from worker's salaries, this is mainly affected by high salary employees. If they cut the salary of an employee there is no problem but some companies do is take out some employees to recover the losses that month. The lockdown will take three to four months for their companies to recover. Let me tell you an example. Take vehicle business, because of lockdown many people use their savings for living this leads sales of vehicles becomes decreasing. Due to this lockdown, there is a direct and indirect effect on employees. 2 to 3 percent of employees affected directly, around 30 percent of employees are affected indirectly. It can take up to two to three months for them to pay their bills daily.
3. Agriculture: According to the PM Kisan scheme, there are 10 crore farmer families in India. Problems in agriculture due to lockdown are lack of workers and change in the supply chain, no availability in marketing. There is no for purchasing the harvested crop because there is no transportation due to lockdown. Mostly perishable harvested farmers are affected.
4. Industries: in India GDP there is 25 percent of GDP from industries only.due to lockdown industries are completely stopped working i.e, textile and manufacturing industries. At present daily using goods making industries is only running that too with a very low capacity. The mainly affected industry is the textile industry.
5. Transport sector: Total public transportation is obstructed due to lockdown. So income from public transport will be closed up to lockdown to the government.
6. Oil consumption: 70 percent of oil consumption is reduced due to lockdown. The cost of a barrel crude oil in January is 60 dollars but at present, the cost of one barrel crude oil is 30 dollars only. Almost 50 percent is falling due to low oil consumption. The loss is for crude oil producers only but due to low consumption of oil taxes from oil is reduced to the government. Almost 70 percent of oil consumption is reduced due to the lockdown.
7. Real estate: Due to this lockdown construction is stopped due to lack of workers and other factors are mostly influenced. Around one lakh crore rupees is lost due to this lockdown.
