Ingredients needed
Mushroom-1/2 kg
Onion-1
Tomato-2
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Cinnamon-1 stick
Cardamom-2
Cloves-2
Oil-as required
Salt-to taste
Kasoori methi-1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves-1 tsp
- Slice the mushrooms and keep it in aside.
- Chop onions and keep it in aside.
- Grind tomatoes in to a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add cinnamon,cardamom and cloves and saute for a minute.
- Add onions and saute well.
- Add tomato puree and keep stirring in a low flame.
- Now add chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and garam masala and keep stirring in a low flame.
- After 10 minutes add the sliced mushrooms and stir continuously.
- Add required amount of water to make thick gravy consistency.
- Now close the lid and keep it on medium flame.
- After 5 minutes open the flame and add required salt.
- Finally add crushed kasoori methi and turn off the flame.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with chapati,rice,idly,dosa.
