Ingredients needed

Mushroom-1/2 kg
Onion-1
Tomato-2
Ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
Chilli powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Garam masala-1 tsp
Cinnamon-1 stick
Cardamom-2
Cloves-2
Oil-as required
Salt-to taste
Kasoori methi-1/4 tsp
Coriander leaves-1 tsp

Method:
  • Slice the mushrooms and keep it in aside.
  • Chop onions and keep it in aside.
  • Grind tomatoes in to a smooth paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add cinnamon,cardamom and cloves and saute for a minute.
  • Add onions and saute well.
  • Add tomato puree and keep stirring in a low flame.

  • Now add chilli powder,turmeric powder,coriander powder and garam masala and keep stirring in a low flame.
  • After 10 minutes add the sliced mushrooms and stir continuously.
  • Add required amount of water to make thick gravy consistency.
  • Now close the lid and keep it on medium flame.

  • After 5 minutes open the flame and add required salt.
  • Finally add crushed kasoori methi and turn off the flame.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with chapati,rice,idly,dosa.
