The temple of gayathri is located in the south eastcorner of the fort directly corresponding to the trinayaneswara swamy temple ,was also constructed by jayachamarajendra wodeyar in 1953.With in the enclosureare three shrines dedicated to savithri,gayathri and lakshmi.

The navaranga or pillard hall of the temple has the sculptures of ganesha,shiva,surya and mahavishnu.All the sculptures have been carved by the famous Mysore sculpture shilpi sidhalingaswamy.
